Strauss Zelnick is an entertainment industry veteran and fitness guru who founded private equity firm ZMC (originally known as Zelnick Media) in 2001. At ZMC,Zelnick is responsible for originating, structuring and monitoring investments and currently represents the firm as director of Education Networks of America, Inc. He is also chairman and chief executive of Take-Two Interactive Software, a publisher and distributor of video games. Previously, Zelnick was on the boards of Cast & Crew Entertainment Services and Naylor. He also served as chairman and chief executiveof Columbia Music Entertainment, chairman of ITN Networks, chairman of Direct Holdings Worldwide and OTX. Prior to ZMC, Zelnick was president and chief executive of BMG Entertainment which at the time was one of the world’s largest music and entertainment companies.

Earlier in his career, he spent four years as president and chief operating officer of 20th Century Fox, where he managed all aspects of Fox Inc.’s worldwide motionpicture production and distribution business. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a JD from Harvard LawSchool.
